Virabhadra = Warrior
Asana = Posture

How to do

– Front knee over front ankle
– Back leg straight with foot at slight angle
– From Warrior II float back hand down to thigh, float front hand up skyward
– Gaze up to skyward hand

Benefits

– Strengthens the quads, arms, back and neck
– Stretches the groins, hips and obliques
– Opens the chest, shoulders and hips

Contraindications

– Chronic or recent injury to the hips, legs or shoulders
