How to do

-Hands, fingertips or knuckles resting on the earth in front of your feet
-Shifting weight onto one leg at a time bending the opposite knee
-Crown of the head dropping toward the earth
*Optional- Extend and straighten back leg
*Optional- Roll up on the ball of your standing foot


-Strengthens and stretches legs
-Strengthens and stretches back side of body
-Develops stamina and endurance in your thighs, your balance, concentration and core awareness


-Recent or chronic injury to the ankles, knees, back or shoulder
